Business Basics Workshop
The Small Business Development Center at JCC is conducting a workshop which will cover information essential to the successful start-up of a business. The class will be offered on Wednesday March 24th 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cattaraugus County Campus in the Dresser Rand Training & Conference Center Room 101 .
Snowmobile Funding Presented to Cattaraugus County Federation of Snowmobilers
Nine area snowmobile clubs that maintain trails in Cattaraugus County will benefit from the annual snowmobile registration fees collected by New York State. New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation recently awarded Cattaraugus County, the municipal sponsor, $171,535.00 in funding to help improve and maintain the 353 miles of funded snowmobile trails in Cattaraugus County.
Free 2009-2010 Cattaraugus County Snowmobile Brochure and Map
Debra Opferbeck, Tourism Specialist for the Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism announced that the FREE 2009 – 2010 Snowmobile brochure and map is now available. On one side of the brochure is a 24” by 18 ½” map of the trails with labels for trail numbers, junction numbers and a business legend for the gas, food or lodging. The brochure contains the name, address, phone number, longitudes and latitudes of the snowmobile related businesses through-out the County. The businesses are listed under the categories of:

Blood Drive in Little Valley
Wednesday, December 30th at the Little Valley Fire Hall, located on Route 242. The blood drive is open to the public and will be open from 11am-4pm. All presenting donors will receive a free holiday t-shirt.
Donors must have picture ID, be at least 17 years of age (or 16 years old with a signed American Red Cross Parental Permission Slip), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health the day of the blood drive. Donors are encouraged to eat and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating blood.

Monday, December 28th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, located on Route 242 East in Ellicottville. The blood drive will be held from 1pm-6pm in the basement. All presenting donors will receive a free holiday t-shirt.
