Free Seminar: The Nuts and Bolts of Selling to the Government
The Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning, and Tourism in conjunction with the Department of Defense Procurement Technical Assistance Program will be hosting a free seminar “The Nuts and Bolts of Selling to the Government”. The seminar will include discussion on the differences and the similarities between commercial and government contracts, review of a typical request for proposal (RFP) or a request for quote (RFQ), and analysis of a standard contract and its term and conditions.

Regional Manufacturing Forum
On Monday October 6th, the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM), Northwest Industrial Resource Center and Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission, will co-host a Regional Manufacturing Forum at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Forum will encourage interaction and collaboration by bringing together area manufacturers, Department of Defense (DoD) representatives, and DoD prime and tiered suppliers.
